Intro to CWP Class
Some people have an apprehension towards firearms and either want to become more familiar (or learn for the first time) the safe handling and operation of a firearm as well as basic marksmanship before taking the full CWP class. While not a prerequisite, this class focuses on the handling, operation and marksmanship skills taught in the full CWP class. Completion of this course will introduce you to the skills that will allow you to safely handle a firearm, exhibit basic marksmanship and gain confidence during the range portion of a CWP class. This class is a 2-hour class and has NO live fire. Simply come to class and we will have everything you need. Please check out our calendar for the next class.

SC Concealed Weapons Permit (CWP) Classes
(Women’s Only and Couples Classes available) 50% discount for Military members, Veterans and retired Law Enforcement officers.
This course will let you meet the requirements of SLED for carrying a concealed weapon in South Carolina. From Beginners to Advanced Shooters, this class includes pistol safety, operation and storage, transportation, ammunition, fundamentals of Marksmanship, the laws of South Carolina including self-defense and CWP, range rules, range session with live fire.
8 hours. $90 per student
NRA Home Firearm Safety Course
This is a non-shooting course that teaches students the basic knowledge and skills to explain the attitude necessary for the safe handling and storage of firearms/ammunition in the home. This is a four-hour course for safe gun handling that is conducted in the classroom only. Students are taught NRA’s 4 Cardinal rules for safe gun handling; primary causes of firearm accidents; firearm parts; how to unload certain action types; ammunition components; cleaning; care; safe storage of firearms in the home; and the benefits of becoming an active participant in the shooting sports. Students will receive the NRA Home Firearm Safety handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, Basic Firearm Training Program brochure, and course completion certificate

First Steps Pistol
First Steps Pistol is a is a great way for you to learn the basics of pistol shooting if you have little to no experience. This class includes the essentials of gun safety, different pistol types and what is right for you, the basics of ammunition, the fundamentals of pistol handling and shooting, some of the most common shooting errors, proper gun cleaning and maintenance and how to maintain your skills. This class includes a classroom and range session.

Beyond the Basics I and II
Beyond the Basics I-II is a series of two different classes designed to continue your training past the basic CWP or NRA Basic Pistol course. Particularly, these courses are directed to self-defense situations where the threat is not stationary in front of you, and you do not have the “perfect” shooting position. Such situations can include sitting in a restaurant, driving, walking around a corner and others. These Beyond the Basic classes will include using a firearm for self-defense from short contact distances; moving to get behind cover; shooting and moving; target acquisition and one-handed shooting. The first part of the class will include a refresher for the basic skills learned in CWP or Basic Pistol so that a base line is established.

Refuse To Be A Victim Class
Refuse To Be A Victim is a 3-4 hr. crime prevention seminar, designed by the NRA to provide common-sense information geared toward awareness and avoidance of criminal attack. Topics will include Situational awareness, how to minimize risk of victimization, creating a personalized safety plan and an array of personal safety strategies.
Cost $30.00 (A portion of all class fees will be donated to local Women’s shelters.)
Private Classes
Private classes are available for individual and groups. The class is tailored for your goals a skill level. We have conducted one on training for those apprehensive about firearms, team building events, corporate outings and social events.

Trigger Time
This class is for designed for individuals that would like to have some one on one time on the range with Instructors to make sure your fundamentals and skills are proficient. This also offers students time to practice on improving their shooting skills.
